Patrick co-founded MPK in 2015. Prior to MPK, Mr. McGee was a co-founder, Partner, and member of the investment committee at Brazos Private Equity Partners, a $1.4 billion private equity firm. His current and former board and investment experience includes Cheddar’s Restaurants, Comark Building Systems, EnergyNet, Ennis-Flint, Healthcare Solutions, Impact Confections, ORS Nasco, PatchMaster, Radiance Holdings (Sola Salon Studios and The Woodhouse Day Spa), Rennhack Marketing Services, Republic Insurance Company, Stellar Service Brands (Restoration 1, bluefrog Plumbing + Drain, The Driveway Company, and Softroc), Strategic Equipment & Supply Corporation, Walls Industries, Unleashed Brands (Urban Air Adventure Park, Snapology, The Little Gym, Premier Martial Arts, Class 101, and XP League), and Zoom Drain. Prior to co-founding Brazos, Mr. McGee was a senior investment professional at Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, a private equity firm. He began his career as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch & Co.

Mr. McGee received a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University, with a double major in Engineering Science and Economics and a minor in Business Administration.

Nick co-founded MPK in 2015 and has been involved in all current MPK portfolio company investments. His current and former board member and observer responsibilities include EnergyNet, PatchMaster, Radiance Holdings (Sola Salon Studios and The Woodhouse Day Spa), Stellar Service Brands (Restoration 1, bluefrog Plumbing + Drain, The Driveway Company, and Softroc), Unleashed Brands (Urban Air Adventure Park, Snapology, The Little Gym, Premier Martial Arts, Class 101, and XP League), and Zoom Drain.

Prior to joining MPK, Nick was an investment professional at Crestline Investors, Inc. and a founding member of Crestline’s Opportunistic Strategies Group, a multi-billion dollar investing platform targeting private equity, credit, and distressed investment opportunities, where he executed nearly 20 transactions totaling more than $1 billion across a variety of sectors and geographies. He began his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the Special Situations Group, where he focused on middle market debt and structured equity investing.

Mr. Huerta received a B.B.A. in Finance, with a minor in Spanish, from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating with high honors from the Canfield Business Honors Program.

Prior to joining MPK, Patrick was an Associate at Leon Capital Group. He began his career as an Analyst at Hillwood Investments.

Patrick is a member of the Advisory Board for the Titus Center for Franchising at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Mr. McGee graduated from Vanderbilt University where he was an Ingram Scholar.

Caroline joined MPK in 2021 and is integrally involved in all aspects of transaction execution and monitoring. Caroline was involved in the investments in Zoom Drain and PatchMaster and supports portfolio management of all MPK portfolio companies. Prior to joining MPK, Caroline was an Associate at Insight Equity, a middle market private equity firm that makes control investments in businesses across industry sectors. She began her career at The Boston Consulting Group, where she spent five years advising leading management teams on strategy and operational improvement.

Caroline serves on the board of the Human Trafficking Institute and formerly served on the advisory board of the Canfield Business Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin.

Caroline received a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating from the Canfield Business Honors Program.

William joined MPK in 2023 and supports all aspect of transaction execution and portfolio monitoring. William has been a franchisee of two home service concepts, The Brothers that Just Do Gutters and PatchMaster Drywall Repair (an MPK company), since 2022 and continues to run those businesses concurrent with his involvement with MPK.

Prior to joining MPK, William was an Associate at Tillridge Global Agribusiness Partners focusing on middle market private equity transactions in the food and agribusiness value chain. William started his career as an investment banking analyst working for Raymond James & Associates and Deloitte Corporate Finance.

William received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University where he majored in Earth & Environmental Sciences and minored in Corporate Strategy.

Maddie joined MPK in 2023 and is involved in all aspects of transaction execution as well as transaction monitoring. Maddie supports portfolio management of all MPK portfolio companies and is actively involved in origination projects for the deal team. Prior to joining MPK, Maddie was an Associate at Cresta Fund Management, a middle market private equity firm that makes control investments in both energy and sustainable infrastructure sectors. Beginning her career at Guggenheim Securities, Maddie spent two years engaging in oil & gas and energy transition transactions for the investment bank.

Maddie received a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.

Gary is chairman of MPK portfolio company, Stellar Service Brands, a home services platform comprised of leading franchisor brands, including Restoration 1, bluefrog Plumbing + Drain, The Driveway Company, and Softroc. From 2008 – 2013, Gary was the COO of Snap Fitness, a global franchise brand with over 1,200 locations. From 2004 – 2008 Gary was the CEO of Findley Group, a franchise development company for over a dozen brands. Prior to starting The Findley Group, Gary was the President of Curves, a women’s fitness franchise. At Curves, Gary led franchise development efforts growing the system to over 8,000 locations in eight years.

Gary began his career at The Dwyer Group (now Neighborly) where he was Vice President of Franchise Sales.

Anurag currently serves as Chairman of Access Healthcare, an outsourcer of healthcare information technology and business process related work, and also Managing Partner of Perot Jain, LP, a private investment organization providing early-stage capital to high-growth, technology-oriented companies. Previously Anurag founded Laurus Edutech, one of India’s leading vocational training companies, which trains over 100,000 students in India in more than 200 locations. He is also Vice Chairman of Silent Circle, a global private communications service.

From 2003 to 2011, Anurag served as a President at Perot Systems Corporation and subsequently at Dell Services following Dell’s 2009 acquisition of Perot Systems. He led the Services Delivery unit, a global team of more than 18,000 professionals who deliver leading edge technology solutions to Dell customers around the world. Before joining Perot Systems, Anurag founded three highly successful, large-scale, India-based IT services outsourcing businesses.

Anurag holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor of science degree in electronics and electrical engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani, India.

Michael is the co-founder and Managing Director of High Steps, LLC, a national education consulting firm. Michael started his career in 1978 working in the educational community providing financial services to educators. After moving to Dallas in 1980, he quickly attained regional, divisional and national sales leadership positions. In 1990, Michael branched to educational technology working with curriculum, assessment and data management companies in leadership capacities.

School Technology & Educational Program Services, LLC was formed in 2000 as an educational consulting firm to better assist companies in their strategic sales and marketing efforts. Additionally, he works closely with many superintendent and school board associations around the country as a liaison for their corporate partner programs.

Michael studied at Tennessee Technological University where he was collegiate baseball All–American and currently resides in Dallas, Texas.

Eric is the co-founder and Managing Director of High Steps, LLC, a national education consulting firm. Eric spent ten years in the North Carolina State Senate where he chaired the Senate’s technology committee, served as chair of Human Services Appropriations and on the Education Oversight Committee. Prior to the Senate, Eric served on the Raleigh City Council for two terms and has spent most of his professional life focused on public policy issues.

In addition to public policy, Eric served as the General Counsel and Director of Public Affairs for SchoolDude.com, the nations largest provider of online facility management software tools for schools.

Eric’s interest in SchoolDude is directly related to school infrastructure needs and learning environment issues. Eric also advises and consults with government oriented technology companies and nonprofit organizations on issues ranging from criminal justice, curriculum, assessment, student management, and, health and human services.

Eric received his undergraduate degrees from Duke University and his law degree from Wake Forest University. As a 2002 Eisenhower Fellow, Eric studied EU internet economy competition strategies.
